Oil on canvas Width 48" Height 60" Depth 2" My husband was working on this tiny island for 4 months in 2006. This is a magical spot called St Paul's Pool. The stacks of rock are razor sharp volcanic rock, 60 to 70 foot high, This is actually a calm day. The water erupts through this gap after traveling 3000 miles across the pacific. £5500.00
The following testimonials were made on an artists discussion group I belong to. Hi Denise…. Where do I begin.. It is just stunning… the rocks are so neat,. The flat shaped and than the craggy edges… just so much perfect texture. And your water is also great.. those little circles with the retreating water.. and the foam .. everything looks very real… and I is so nice to see you next to the picture.. It also shows the size of the picture.. overall I just love it.. Margot Denise, I really liked seeing the size of this so thanks for taking it with yourself beside it (I also like seeing the artists). This is stunning! Powerful, strong, amazing, fresh, lovely, I think I've run out of adjectives but you get the idea. I wouldn't change a thing. Rhonda It is nice to 'see' you Denise! This painting is great. Nice depth and at that size I imagine it really grabs the eye. Very nicely done.Steph
